Qaseeda Burdah Shareef in Arabic with English & Hindi translation The Qaseeda Burdah, (The Poem of the Scarf) or the Mantle or Cloak of Rasoolullah صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيهِ وَآلِهٖ وَسَلَّم is a Qaseedah (panegyric) composed by Hazrat Imam Saalih Sharfuddeen Abu Abdullah Muhammad Bin Hasan Al-Busiri رَحْمَةُ اللّٰهِ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْه in the praise of Rasoolullah صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيهِ وَآلِهٖ وَسَلَّم. Imam Busiri رَحْمَةُ اللّٰهِ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْه was born in Egypt in 608 A.H. and died in 695 A.H. Imam Busiri رَحْمَةُ اللّٰهِ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْه composed the Qaseeda after suffering from a stroke which left him partially paralyzed. He رَحْمَةُ اللّٰهِ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْه prayed to Allah Almighty to make well and bestow him recovery from his disease. Then, after praying, he رَحْمَةُ اللّٰهِ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْه fell asleep. In his dream, he رَحْمَةُ اللّٰهِ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْه saw himself reciting the Qaseedah upon Nabi-e-Akram صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيهِ وَآلِهٖ وَسَلَّم. After reciting, Nabi-e-Akram touched the paralyzed part of his body and put his Burdah (blanket) over him. When Hazrat Imaam Saalih Sharfuddeen Al-Busiri رَحْمَةُ اللّٰهِ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْه awoke, he رَحْمَةُ اللّٰهِ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْه discovered that he رَحْمَةُ اللّٰهِ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْه had been cured of his paralysis. ...
