ABOUT RBSK Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram (RBSK) commenced from the year 2013-14 in Karnataka, under this program 0 to 18 years children are screened for 38 health conditions broadly classified under 4’D’s. The main aim of this program is to conduct health screening so as to identify children with health conditions and to refer for appropriate timely treatment. Children aged between 0-6 years are screened biannually at Anganwadi’s and 6-18 years are annually at Schools and Colleges. Those found positive for various conditions like Cardiac, Neurology, Cleft Lip and Cleft Palate are referred to Suvarna Arogya Suraksha Trust (SAST) empanelled hospitals for cashless treatment.
